The Benko Gambit: Wins a Piece is a classic chess opening trap arising from the Benko Gambit. In this line Black wins decisive material by move 9, punishing a natural-looking but losing idea from White.
The full sequence runs 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 c5 3.d5 b5 4.b3 bxc4 5.bxc4 d6 6.Nc3 g6 7.e4 Bg7 8.Nf3 Nxe4 9.Nxe4 Bxa1. Each move looks reasonable, which is exactly why the trap is so effective over the board — White walks into it while trying to play "normal" developing moves.
