How the Sacrifice the Queen!! 2.0 works
The Sacrifice the Queen!! 2.0 is a classic chess opening trap arising from the Reti Opening. In this line White wins decisive material by move 13, punishing a natural-looking but losing idea from Black.
The full sequence runs 1.Nf3 d5 2.c4 Nf6 3.cxd5 Nxd5 4.e4 Nf6 5.Nc3 Nc6 6.d4 Bg4 7.d5 Ne5 8.Nxe5 Bxd1 9.Bb5+ c6 10.dxc6 a6 11.c7+ axb5 12.cxd8=Q+ Rxd8 13.Nxd1. Each move looks reasonable, which is exactly why the trap is so effective over the board — Black walks into it while trying to play "normal" developing moves.
